Fiddling While Rome Burns...

Apparently we Massholes were not the only ones affected by the tornadoes of late. Carol sent me pics of what happened to her yard from one of these uninvited twisties.

Here's a pic showing two (out of the four) apple trees that were uprooted...

Here's what's left of her once-grand willow tree...

And this poor oak tree never had a chance...
And what are our compatriots doing while the rest of us are suffering? Why, they're going on field trips...
And lounging around, enjoying peaceful repose...
That's ok; the annual Labor Day event is coming. And that means we'll have our chance to catch up on the fun and frivolity once again. It means mountain rides with Jerry, dinner at Mickey's...and guest bartending appearances at the V!!

But I'm sure I can come up with some fun stuff between now and then to occupy my riding time...
